The Bog Oak fountain pen’s body is handcrafted from bog oak, while the cap and grip are made of solid sterling silver, with black anthracite ruthenium plating, and engraved with a geometrical guilloche design. The pen is hallmarked *TO 675 – 925, assuring customers of the use of sterling silver.
Bog oak, an ancient material, is over 5000 years old and often referred to as fossil wood. This rare wood is obtained without cutting down trees; instead, it comes from trees that have been buried in swamps, preserved from decay by natural conditions for hundreds or even thousands of years.
Our fountain pens feature a double-use refilling system, compatible with both a converter and ink cartridges. Each pen comes with a pumping converter and a set of 6 cartridges, available in black and blue ink.
The pen is equipped with a medium-sized ruthenium-plated steel nib, with other nib sizes such as Fine, Extra Fine, and Broad available upon request at no additional charge. Additionally, we offer the option to upgrade to a solid 18K gold nib or a rollerball point and customization service.
Your fountain pen will be shipped in a gift box with an origin certificate. We provide lifelong technical assistance and offer free international shipping
