Bog Oak Fountain Pen

We’re delighted to showcase our latest creation: the bog oak  fountain pen crafted from a distinctive blend of materials, including black gold-plated silver and bog oak, also known as fossil wood. Fossil wood originates primarily from Irish and Ukrainian bogs.

Across expansive regions of these countries, entire forests of pine, oak, elm, and yew trees have been preserved beneath layers of peat. The acidic environment and absence of oxygen have contributed to the timeless preservation of these ancient trees, which predate even the Egyptian pyramids.
