Every Grifos pen arrives in its gift box with a certificate of authenticity, hallmarked 925 and *675 TO when made of silver. It is covered by the 2-year European warranty, and our workshop offers lifetime assistance: cleaning, refills and replacement of parts worn by use.

The story of Bog Oak
Bog oak is a rare material, obtained without cutting down trees: it comes from trees that fell into swamps during their natural life cycle and were preserved from decay for thousands of years. Dated by carbon-14, the wood of this pen is over 5000 years old: writing with it is like touching the ancient Egyptian pyramids.
The cap and grip are solid sterling silver, plated in ruthenium (black gold) and engraved with a geometric guilloché that sets off the dark tones of the fossil wood.

From our workshop
Every Grifos pen is made by hand in our workshop in Castiglione Torinese.
- Craftsmanship
Handmade in our artisan workshop in Italy. The barrel is bog oak; the cap and grip are solid sterling silver, ruthenium plated (black gold) and engraved with a geometric guilloché design.
The pen bears the hallmarks 925 and *675 TO, attesting to the use of sterling silver and our membership in the silversmith guild. On request, the details can be plated in yellow, red, silver or black, or finished in oxidized silver.
- Writing
The pen comes with an international standard rollerball refill by Schmidt Technology, the renowned German brand, for smooth, effortless writing; the refill is easy to find anywhere in the world. Black or blue ink, as you prefer. The cap twists open. A fountain pen version can also be made.

Each engraving costs €15. For other parts of the pen or a longer text, please contact us before you order and we will tell you what can be done on this model.
Yes, we also engrave company logos and symbols. Please contact us before ordering at info@grifos-pens.it: complex symbols may need more time and an additional cost.
We prepare every order in 2 working days. Then the insured courier delivers in 1–2 working days in Italy (up to 4 for the islands and Calabria) and in 3–5 working days to the rest of the world. When the pen leaves, you receive an email with the tracking link.
Shipping is free on orders from €80. Below €80 it costs €10 in Italy and €25 to the rest of Europe and the world; express delivery can be chosen at checkout. Outside the European Union, import duties and taxes are paid by the recipient.
