Every Grifos pen arrives in its gift box with a certificate of authenticity, hallmarked 925 and *675 TO when made of silver. It is covered by the 2-year European warranty, and our workshop offers lifetime assistance: cleaning, refills and replacement of parts worn by use.

The story of Silver and Blue Stingray
Natural navy blue stingray skin, also called galuchat, gives this fountain pen a feel all its own. The skin is a myriad of tiny bony beads with a pearly sheen: turn the pen in your hand and a blade of light runs across it. Japanese samurai covered the handles of their katanas with it, for a perfect grip.
Here the skin is framed in silver: cap and grip section are solid sterling silver with a wavy guilloché, set off by 18K gold-plated details. The stingray skin is a by-product of the food industry, and the species used is not endangered.

Every Grifos pen is made by hand in our workshop in Castiglione Torinese.
- Craftsmanship
Handcrafted by experienced artisans in our workshop in Italy. The cap and grip section are solid sterling silver with a wavy guilloché design, hallmarked 925, and the details are 18K gold-plated.
The stingray skin is a by-product of the food industry, regularly purchased in Italy. We follow the Washington Convention (CITES): the stingray species used is not endangered.
- Writing
A double refilling system takes both a converter and ink cartridges; the pen comes with the pumping converter installed. Gold-plated steel nib in medium size; Fine, Extra Fine or Broad at no extra charge. On request, a solid 18K gold nib or a rollerball point.

Online we engrave the clip (up to 20 characters), the cap ring (up to 20) and the engraving window (up to 50), where this model has them: a name, a date, initials or a short phrase. Each engraving costs €15. For other parts of the pen or a longer text, please contact us before you order and we will tell you what can be done on this model.
Yes, we also engrave company logos and symbols. Please contact us before ordering at info@grifos-pens.it: complex symbols may need more time and an additional cost.
We prepare every order in 2 working days. Then the insured courier delivers in 1–2 working days in Italy (up to 4 for the islands and Calabria) and in 3–5 working days to the rest of the world. When the pen leaves, you receive an email with the tracking link.
Shipping is free on orders from €80. Below €80 it costs €10 in Italy and €25 to the rest of Europe and the world; express delivery can be chosen at checkout. Outside the European Union, import duties and taxes are paid by the recipient.
Yes, with PayPal: in 3 interest-free instalments for orders from €20 to €3,000, or in 6, 12 or 24 monthly instalments with interest for orders from €120 to €5,000.
