Every Grifos pen arrives in its gift box with a certificate of authenticity, hallmarked 925 and *675 TO when made of silver. It is covered by the 2-year European warranty, and our workshop offers lifetime assistance: cleaning, refills and replacement of parts worn by use.

The story of Horn, Silver and Gold
Natural Indian ox horn, solid sterling silver and the warm light of gold. The body of this fountain pen is in horn, while the cap and grip are in silver, decorated with a spiral guilloché engraving. Every metal detail, from the clip to the rings and tops, is plated in 18 kt gold.
We buy our horn regularly in Italy, imported from India. It is 100% farmed and a by-product of the food industry: no animal is killed for its horns, and under the Washington Convention (CITES) the ox is not an endangered species.

Every Grifos pen is made by hand in our workshop in Castiglione Torinese.
- Craftsmanship
Hand-crafted in Italy. The body is made from natural Indian ox horn; the cap and finger grip section are solid sterling silver, and all metal details, such as the clip, rings and tops, are 18 kt gold-plated. Each piece bears our hallmark and an oval stamp of 925 sterling silver.
The horn is imported from India and regularly purchased in Italy. It is 100% farmed and a by-product of the catering industry; according to the Washington Convention (CITES), the ox is not an endangered species.
- Writing
Screw cap: simply twist it open. A double refilling system takes both a converter and ink cartridges. 18 kt gold-plated steel nib in medium size; fine, extra fine and broad at no extra cost. On request, the pen can be upgraded with a solid 18K gold nib.

Frequently asked questions
Online we engrave the clip (up to 20 characters), the cap ring (up to 20) and the engraving window (up to 50), where this model has them: a name, a date, initials or a short phrase. Each engraving costs €15. For other parts of the pen or a longer text, please contact us before you order and we will tell you what can be done on this model.
Yes, we also engrave company logos and symbols. Please contact us before ordering at info@grifos-pens.it: complex symbols may need more time and an additional cost.
We prepare every order in 2 working days. Then the insured courier delivers in 1–2 working days in Italy (up to 4 for the islands and Calabria) and in 3–5 working days to the rest of the world. When the pen leaves, you receive an email with the tracking link.
Shipping is free on orders from €80. Below €80 it costs €10 in Italy and €25 to the rest of Europe and the world; express delivery can be chosen at checkout. Outside the European Union, import duties and taxes are paid by the recipient.
Yes, with PayPal: in 3 interest-free instalments for orders from €20 to €3,000, or in 6, 12 or 24 monthly instalments with interest for orders from €120 to €5,000.
