The story of Draco
The Draco is made of vermeil gold: a core of solid sterling silver covered with a thick layer of 18 kt gold, so the warm color of gold rests on a heart of silver.
Its golden surface is decorated with a barleycorn guilloché, engraved with a diamond point tool in our silversmith atelier in Italy: a fine pattern of small grains running over body and cap.
To mark an important milestone, or for anyone who prefers gold to silver.
From our workshop
Every Grifos pen is made by hand in our workshop in Castiglione Torinese.
