Every Grifos pen is made by hand in our workshop in Castiglione Torinese.
- Craftsmanship
Each pen is handcrafted in Italy by our silversmiths. Cap and barrel are satin-finished sterling silver 925 with the engraved seahorse and oxidized details; the grip section, also sterling silver 925, carries a traditional guilloché engraving and is ruthenium-plated, like the other metal details. Each pen is hallmarked with our maker's mark together with the oval 925 stamp, certifying the authenticity of the silver.
- Writing
The pen takes both ink cartridges and a converter, and has a screw cap that protects the nib. It is fitted as standard with a stainless steel medium nib; fine, extra fine and broad nibs are available on request, and the pen can be upgraded with a solid 18K gold nib. This model is also available as a rollerball pen.

Yes, we also engrave company logos and symbols. Please contact us before ordering at info@grifos-pens.it: complex symbols may need more time and an additional cost.
We prepare every order in 2 working days. Then the insured courier delivers in 1–2 working days in Italy (up to 4 for the islands and Calabria) and in 3–5 working days to the rest of the world. When the pen leaves, you receive an email with the tracking link.
Shipping is free on orders from €80. Below €80 it costs €10 in Italy and €25 to the rest of Europe and the world; express delivery can be chosen at checkout. Outside the European Union, import duties and taxes are paid by the recipient.
Yes, with PayPal: in 3 interest-free instalments for orders from €20 to €3,000, or in 6, 12 or 24 monthly instalments with interest for orders from €120 to €5,000. Under the Add to cart button, “Learn more” shows PayPal's offer for that pen. Choose PayPal at checkout; instalments are subject to PayPal's approval.
Yes: you have 14 days from delivery to exercise your right of withdrawal, as described in our return policy. Engraved pens are personalised products and cannot be returned.

Every pen has the 2-year European legal warranty against manufacturing defects. After that, we still take care of it: cleaning, refills, cartridges, converters and replacement of damaged parts.
